Dr. Alessandro Fichera, a prominent colorectal surgeon, has been named chief of the Division of Colorectal Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine, effective Oct. 14.

Dr. Brian DeRubertis, a leading vascular surgeon and researcher who develops innovative approaches and surgical techniques for treating conditions affecting the circulatory system, has been named chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
