The Weill Cornell Medicine media relations team oversees and facilitates all media requests and interviews involving the institution’s faculty and administration. Each media team member manages specific service areas (i.e., “beats”) and helps journalists identify experts and other resources within our core missions of patient care, research and education. For our faculty, the media team is a resource to help publicize their work (e.g., peer-reviewed journal articles, medical meeting presentations, patient testimonials) and manage media inquiries.

Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Host the 36th Annual Women’s Health Symposium Luncheon

Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian hosted the 36th annual Women’s Health Symposium luncheon, benefitting the Iris Cantor Women’s Health Center and chaired by Joan Weill and Dr. Orli Etingin. Drs. Lewis Cantley and Andrew Dannenberg presented their studies exploring the connection between cancer and the consumption of sugar, cancer metabolism and inflamed fat.
