The 45th annual Vincent du Vigneaud Memorial Research Symposium, a student-organized event that has become central to the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences experience, had a record number of 153 abstracts submitted this year, including posters and eight oral presentations.

The WCCHR provides survivors of persecution or torture seeking asylum in the U.S. with objective forensic evaluations, which are psychological and physical assessments, including gynecological exams, that can last up to three hours. Since its inception, the center has evaluated more than 1,100 people.

Weill Cornell Medicine's First Responder Course provides first-year medical students with hands-on training for a variety of emergency situations they may encounter anywhere.

Dr. Mocco will lead a large team of neurosurgeons and other experts who specialize in diseases that affect the blood vessels in the brain, known as cerebrovascular disease; brain and spinal tumors; movement disorders; and other diseases of the brain, spine and nerves that branch out from the brain and spinal cord.

The "gender desk" at Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences, the home of Weill Bugando School of Medicine, aims to break down the barriers – such as sexual harassment – that prevent women from taking on leadership roles in global health. The initiative also focuses on increasing research on women’s health.

Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences doctoral student Ana Campos Codo has been selected for the 2025 cohort of the Gilliam Fellows Program by Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).
