A transformative new scholarship program established by Weill Cornell Medicine will eliminate medical education debt for all students who qualify for financial aid.
On a Tuesday in early June, just days before summer break, dozens of third-year medical students gathered in the Belfer Research Building to present findings from independent research projects they’d been working on since February.
Amanda Garfinkel, a third-year medical student at Weill Cornell Medical College, was awarded a one-year fellowship from the Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Foundation.
