Dr. Geraldine McGinty, an esteemed academic healthcare leader and radiologist, has been appointed executive vice dean of Weill Cornell Medicine, effective Sept. 8.

Weill Cornell Medicine has recently promoted longtime institutional leaders Thomas W. Stokes, Michael T. Murphy and Eric M. Saidel to elevated administrative posts.

Garzio, a distinguished academic medicine administrator, will start her new role in early February.
