Weill Cornell faculty, staff and students can help alleviate the severe blood shortage in the metropolitan area by volunteering to give blood on Sept. 9 or 10.
The two-day blood drive will be held at NewYork Weill Cornell from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Staff, volunteers and visitors are welcome. In appreciation for giving blood, donors will receive a $7 meal pass for the Garden Café and the chance to win a raffle prize.
Medical Center staff and students are asked to reserve time in advance through the Hospital Infonet: infonet.nyp.org/GIVEBLOOD. Walk-ins are also welcome.
