Dr. Chi-Chang David Lin, assistant professor of rehabilitation medicine, has been appointed to the Ida and Theo Rossi Di Montelera Assistant Professorship of Rehabilitation Medicine.
The Rossi Di Montelera Assistant Professorship was established by the Countess Ida Rossi Di Montelera in 1999. Candidates for the assistant professorship must be board-certified physiatrists with a proven academic record and dedication to clinical investigative activities pertaining to the field of rehabilitation medicine, particularly those that advance the care of patients with locomotive problems and musculoskeletal problems caused by malignant neoplastic diseases.
Dr. Lin received his medical degree in 1999 from the University of Alabama, where he also earned two bachelor's degrees in materials science and engineering and in chemistry. He did his postgraduate medical training at the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens and the NYU/Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. He joined Weill Cornell in 2003 and sees many patients with cancer, both neurologic and non-neurologic, who have significant musculoskeletal impairments.
