Dr. Elizabeth Ross has an enduring passion for improving patients’ lives by studying how genes affect the brain’s function.
“Having the privilege of working with families, hearing the challenges that they face as they move on in their life story, is very motivating,” said Dr. Ross, the Nathan Cummings Professor in Neurology, director of the Center for Neurogenetics and professor of neuroscience in the Feil Family Brain and Mind Research Institute at Weill Cornell Medicine, and chair of the Neuroscience Graduate Program at the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. “It keeps us engaged in trying to find answers for them.”
