The NewYork Weill Cornell Medical Center Alumni Council Outstanding Service Award was presented to Dr. Roger Yurt, the Johnson & Johnson Distinguished Professor of Surgery at the Medical College and director of the Hearst Burn Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, at the Center Alumni Council Awards Dinner on Nov. 4.
The Lifetime Dedication Award is presented to Dr. Leonard H. Schuyler.
This award was established in 2005 and is presented biennially to a Center Alumni Council member who is currently on staff and has dedicated many years of service and commitment to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Yurt is the third recipient to date.
The NewYork Weill Cornell Medical Center Alumni Council Board of Trustees was proud to introduce a new award, the Lifetime Dedication Award, in celebration of a physician who has demonstrated a lifetime of loyalty and dedication to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and the NewYork Weill Cornell Medical Center Alumni Council. Dr. Leonard H. Schuyler, who served as clinical professor of medicine and is an active member of the NewYork Weill Cornell Medical Center Alumni Council, was presented with this award.
