Weill Cornell Medical College to Co-Sponsor 14th International Symposium on Drugs Affecting Lipid Metabolism

On October 4-7, 2007, the 14th International Symposium on Drugs Affecting Lipid Metabolism will be held in New York City. Jointly sponsored by Weill Cornell Medical College and the Lorenzini Foundation, the conference will explore current challenges and recent developments in the pharmacological management of dyslipidemia, one of the major risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Dean Antonio M. Gotto Jr., an internationally recognized expert in the field of lipid metabolism and cardiovascular prevention, will be co-chairing the event.

Weill Cornell physicians and residents who wish to attend the DALM symposium are being offered a discounted registration fee. Regular on-site registration is $670, and the student rate is $220. With proof of a Weill Cornell affiliation, physicians will be able to register for $425 and residents for $325. DALM offers 30 hours of CME credit.
