WCM placeholder

On Monday, April 16 from 12:30–2 p.m., faculty, staff, students and the public will attend an open dialogue at the Biotechnology Building on the Ithaca campus to discuss Cornell University's Economic Impact Statement that was released in March 2007.

The executive vice president for finance and administration and the vice provost for land grant affairs will lead the discussion regarding Cornell's economic impact on the Central New York region and the entirety of New York state. While its economic impact is only one lens through which to view Cornell University, the Economic Impact study describes Cornell's diverse contributions to the State of New York and provides an opportunity to assess how effectively Cornell is using the resources provided to carry out its tripartite mission of teaching, research and service.

A video of the Monday discussion will be available for viewing as of Tuesday, April 17 at www.cornell.edu/video.
