Third P.O. Midwinter Icebreaker a Success

Dr. Antonio Gotto

On February 17, the Weill Cornell Physician Organization (P.O.) held its third "Midwinter Icebreaker" in the Griffis Faculty Club for all P.O. physicians. This well-attended event allowed for physicians representing various clinical areas to meet and greet one another in a relaxed setting.

Dr. Antonio Gotto, dean of the Medical College, presented welcoming remarks, along with Dr. E. Darracott Vaughan, chief medical officer of the Physician Organization. In addition, Dr. Vaughan introduced a 10-minute video about the "Weill Cornell: We Care" program, an effort to enhance the patient-care experience.

The P.O. is the faculty practice organization of Weill Cornell and is comprised of more than 700 members, practicing in more than 50 specialties. Members of the group are attending physicians at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell.
