
Dr. G. Stanley McKnight
Dr. G. Stanley McKnight, professor of pharmacology at the University of Washington (Seattle), will be the guest of Weill Cornell's Department of Pharmacology as the William D. Stubenbord Visiting Professor. (The event is being sponsored by the Louis Calder Foundation.)
Dr. McKnight will present the Stubenbord Lecture on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 12 p.m. in Uris Auditorium. His topic will be "Genetic Analysis of the cAMP/PKA Signaling Pathway in Mice."
The William D. Stubenbord Visiting Professorships were established in 1968 by a gift from the Louis Calder Foundation in memory of Louis Calder Sr., and Louis Calder Jr., and in recognition of the outstanding professional services and long friendship that the late Dr. William D. Stubenbord had for them and members of their families. Dr. Stubenbord, who died in 1982, was a 1931 graduate of the Medical College and was associated with The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center during his entire medical career.
