Jeffrey Lehman, 11th President of Cornell University
Faculty, staff, students and members of the Weill Cornell community are invited to a special inaugural symposium and reception for Jeffrey Lehman, the new president of Cornell University, on Wednesday, Oct. 15, starting at 9 a.m. in Uris Auditorium. President Lehman will deliver his Inaugural Address, which will detail his global vision for Cornell and higher education. Special symposium guest and Medical College alumnus Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, will present a talk on "Emerging and Re-Emerging Diseases in the 21st Century." A reception will follow in Griffis Faculty Club at 10 a.m. All are welcome.
