Opening Exercises and White Coat Ceremony (Aug. 20)

Opening Exercises for Weill Medical College will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m. in Uris Auditorium. Dr. Antonio Gotto, vice provost for medical affairs and dean of the Medical College, will welcome the new medical students. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Philip Stieg, professor of neurological surgery.

The Medical College's White Coat Ceremony, for the members of the first-year class, will begin at 2 p.m. (preceding the Opening Exercises) in Uris Auditorium. Dr. Phyllis August, professor of medicine and public health, will be the keynote speaker.
