2003 Celebration of Teaching Awards Ceremony Honors Medical College Educators

Weill Cornell's teaching faculty were honored at the 2003 Celebration of Teaching event held earlier this month at the Cornell Club.

Weill Cornell's teaching faculty were honored at the 2003 Celebration of Teaching event for their outstanding contributions to educating tomorrow's physicians and researchers. The program, hosted by Dr. Carol Storey-Johnson, senior associate dean for education, and Dr. Antonio Gotto, dean of the Medical College, was held at the Cornell Club on June 2.


In his opening remarks, Dr. Gotto addressed the department chairs, overseers, faculty and other members of the Weill Cornell administration who attended the event: "We are blessed with wonderful students, all of whom will receive a superb education. These awards tonight celebrate the excellence in teaching that is the hallmark of Weill Cornell Medical College."
