
Dr. Mildred Witkin
Dr. Mildred Witkin, clinical assistant professor of psychology in psychiatry, died May 18. She was 82.
An eminent therapist, author and lecturer, Dr. Witkin was a former associate director of the Human Sexuality Program in Weill Cornell's Department of Psychiatry. She was known for her pioneering research into the sexual sequela of breast cancer treatment as well as her supportive style with colleagues and students alike.
Dr. Witkin was a resident of New York City and Westport, Conn. She is survived by her husband, Dr. George Radovic, two children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
