Dr. Ruth Lax, clinical associate professor of psychology in psychiatry, has been elected by her peers as a 2003 fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA), for her exceptional and outstanding contributions to the research, teaching and practice of psychology. The APA is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States and is the world's largest association of psychologists. APA works to advance psychology as a science and profession, and as a means of promoting human welfare.
Dr. Michael O'Dell, professor of clinical rehabilitation medicine, has been named to the editorial board of the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation (December 2002) and the editorial board of the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (August 2002).
