The Weill Cornell Physician Organization (PO) held its first-ever "Midwinter Icebreaker" on Feb. 5 in the Griffis Faculty Club. The event was an ideal opportunity for many of the organization's 650-strong membership to gather in an informal setting. Many physicians who recently joined the PO were very pleased with the opportunity to meet colleagues from a number of clinical areas.
The Physician Organization, the faculty practice organization of Weill Cornell, includes more than 650 physicians, practicing in over 50 specialties. Members of the group are attending physicians at NewYork Weill Cornell Medical Center. These leading clinicians are also responsible for many medical breakthroughs and advances, and for providing primary and specialty care to patients who come here from around the New York metropolitan area, and throughout the United States and the world.
