The opening of the 11th Medical Complex Art Show, sponsored by Weill Cornell's Medical Library, was celebrated with a reception and awards presentation on Oct. 26.
This year's art show includes 78 works of art by 28 artistic members of Weill Cornell's extended community: Weill Cornell, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (Weill Cornell campus), Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the Hospital for Special Surgery, The Rockefeller University, and the New York Blood Center.
Winner of the Golden Harvest Award for Best of Show was Barbara Inturrisi (Weill Cornell Department of Pharmacology) for her water color and ink painting titled "At the Beach."

The First Runner-Up prize went to Stefano Lami, Ph.D., of The Rockefeller University for his oil painting "Tuscan Landscape: San Vincenzo."
