Dr. Michael Roizen
The Department of Anesthesiology is hosting Dr. Michael Roizen as the 2001 Stubenbord Visiting Professor at Weill Medical College. Dr. Roizen is chairman of the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care and professor of internal medicine at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine. He will present the featured Stubenbord Lecture on April 2 (7 a.m. in Uris Auditorium) on the topic "Perioperative Management in the Diabetic Patient."
The William D. Stubenbord Visiting Professorships were established in 1968 by a gift from the Louis Calder Foundation in memory of Louis Calder Sr. and Louis Calder Jr., and in recognition of the outstanding professional service and long friendship of the late Dr. William D. Stubenbord had for them and members of their families.
