Dr. Steven Schroeder, president and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, was the First Lorraine and Ralph Lubin Distinguished Visiting Professor at Weill Medical College (Feb. 14–15). He presented two lectures: "Challenges for Health and Health Care in the 21st Century" and "How Will Medicine Withstand the Challenge of Managed Care and Cost Containment." He also participated in informal discussions with students and faculty. The Lubin Visiting Professorship, the first visiting professorship in the Department of Public Health, was established through an endowed gift from Dr. Madelon Lubin Finkel, professor of clinical public health, in honor of her parents.
