The distinguished career and achievements of Dr. Harvey A. Lincoff, professor emeritus of ophthalmology, have been recognized by the Samuel I. Newhouse Foundation, which has pledged $1 million to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital to establish, in Dr. Lincoff's honor, the Newhouse Clinical Scholars program in ophthalmology. Dr. Lincoff, who will be the first Newhouse Clinical Scholar, is an internationally renowned retinal surgeon and scientist whose innovations in eye surgery have improved the treatment of retinal disorders around the world.
