WGSMS Students Star During 'Brain Awareness Week'

WCM placeholder

Weill Cornell Graduate School students and faculty of the Department of Neurology and Neuroscience were a "hit" at both Hunter College Elementary School and P.S. 183 last month during "Brain Awareness Week." Students and faculty answered questions about the brain, conducted actual "wet lab" experiments with their young mentees, and engaged in a multitude of "crania mania" activities, including memory games and puzzles. Among the participants were Drs. Teresa Milner (Brain Awareness Coordinator), Sara Glickstein and Steven Einheber, and graduate neuroscience students Brian Turner, Ramee Lee, Deborah Martin, Dan MacDonald, Monica Kolinsky and Robert DeBellis.
