In a major milestone of its recently completed $200 million capital campaign, Weill Cornell Medical College has dedicated the $39 million Research Laboratories of the Whitney Pavilion. The seven floors (plus one mechanical floor) will be used as state-of-the-art, interdepartmental and interdisciplinary labs occupied by scientists working in three crucial areas of biomedical research: structural biology, genetic medicine and neuroscience. With this latest completed component of its Strategic Research Plan, Weill Cornell will be able to significantly extend its leadership role in the biomedical sciences.
