Awards and Honors

Dr. Kane Pryor, an associate professor of clinical anesthesiology and associate professor of anesthesiology in clinical psychiatry, was appointed to the British Journal of Anaesthesia’s Associate Editorial Board. Founded in 1923, the British Journal is the oldest and largest independent journal of anaesthesia.

Dr. Shari Lipner, an assistant professor of dermatology, was the invited speaker for the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York’s monthly meeting on Nov. 13. Her talk was titled "Onychomycosis: Are we making Progress?" The society is the largest regional dermatologic group in the nation.

Dr. Michael Pesko, a Walsh McDermott Scholar in Public Health, received Hamline University’s First Decade Award. This award goes to a graduate of the university who has done extraordinary work in his or her field or through his or her volunteer activities within the first 10 years of graduation.
