Five physicians in the Department of Radiology have been named fellows of the American College of Radiology. The recipients have been awarded based on their history of service to the college, organized radiology, teaching and/or research:
Dr. Kevin Holcomb, associate dean for admissions and professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology, was the 2022 recipient of SHARE’s Ann Grant Advocacy Leadership Award presented at the “Celebrate the Power of SHARE: Virtual Gala 2022.” The annual event raises funds for underserved women and their loved ones affected by breast, ovarian, uterine or metastatic breast cancer.
Alice Tao, a student in Dr. Makoto Ishii’s lab at Weill Cornell Medicine, has received the Futures in Neurological Research Scholarship to the Annual Meeting from the American Academy of Neurology. The academy strives to promote the highest quality patient-centered neurologic care and enhance member career satisfaction.
Dr. Priyanka Tiwari, assistant professor of clinical pediatrics, has been accepted as a 2022 American Academy of Pediatrics/Vermont Oxford Network Scholar. The award recognizes future leaders in newborn care who exemplify dedication to data-driven quality improvement in the care of infants and families.
