Dr. Elizabeth K. Arleo, assistant professor of radiology, was appointed in May to the American Association for Women Radiologists, an organization devoted to the professional development of women radiologists. The association provides networking opportunities, increases the visibility of women in the field, sponsors activities that impact women radiologists and mentors women entering the field.
Dr. Geraldine McGinty, assistant professor of radiology, was the invited speaker for the Radiology Leadership Institute Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in May. The council is a professional organization responsible for the accreditation of more than 9,000 residency education programs.
Dr. Martin R. Prince, professor of radiology and an adjunct professor of radiology, was named Distinguish Reviewer of the Year by Magnetic Resonance Imaging and the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in May. The award is bestowed on reviewers who consistently provide high-quality reviews in a timely fashion over a two-year period.
