Endocrinologist Jason Baker can uniquely relate to his patients: Like them, he lives with type 1 diabetes. Now, he’s doing all that he can to make a difference in the lives of his patients in New York and the developing world.
“When I share my experiences living with type 1 diabetes with my patients, and also share the experiences of people with type 1 diabetes who live in very different settings, I get to motivate them to take care of themselves and use all of the supplies and all of the resources that they are blessed to have,” he said.
